University of the Punjab Undergraduate Admission 2026-2027. University of the Punjab has advertised and offered the admission in undergraduate programs of various programs and departments at main campus, Karachi, Lahore. The applicants who are interested in getting admission at various undergraduate programs of Punjab University can apply online for these admissions. The entry test of PU will be started from 14th of June 2026 Sunday.
Who can apply for PU admission?
All the students who have cleared their intermediate education or higher secondary school certificate or equivalent can apply in undergraduate programs of Punjab University. However, those who have grade 12th education can also apply for admission in Punjab University undergraduate programs.
On the other side, all those students who have been appeared in the final examination of SSC in waiting for their results, they can also apply for undergraduate admission of Punjab University and can get in various programs of undergraduate.
Admission test categories of undergraduate
The admission tests are various programs that will be conducted in the following seven categories relevant to the various disciplines.
First of all, pre-engineering, secondly pre-medical, third, arts, humanities, and social sciences, fourth, ICS with the physics combination, fifth, ICS with the statistics combination, sixth, general science, and lastly commerce.
So the admission test for undergraduate admissions in Punjab University will be conducted according to these seven categories. The weightage of admission test will be 25% of the total merit calculation. The admission test will qualify the students or candidates participating in the calculation of merit.

Admission test may be held in major cities of Pakistan. According to the information shared on the Punjab University website, the admission test may be conducted in major cities of Pakistan.
How to apply for PU admission
For registration, visit the Punjab University official website. The admission test fee is Rs 2500. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. You can also download the fee challan while registering for the admission test. The one interesting thing or facilitation for the student is that you can pay the challan at bank or you can also pay the admission fee through mobile banking application.
Most importantly, all the applicants are required to upload the image of online payment or proof of payment so that the application process can be completed.
Moreover, LAT and PU admission test will be mandatory for admissions to LLB program in University of the Punjab. For admission to College of Arts and Design, PU admission test is mandatory along with drawing aptitude test. The test will be conducted separately in the College of Arts and Design. MDCAT or PU admission test is valid for admission to the Doctor of Pharmacy program PharmD.
Last date for online registration of PU admission test is 25th May 2026.
